Connecticut, also referred to as the Land of Steady Habits, was one of the most significant states in the development of the federal government. Certification Requirements in Connecticut

Licensure is not a requirement for working technicians in Connecticut, though it is often valued by employers. There are two schools students can choose from to obtain ultrasound education. Though, only one offers a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Those who would like to become certified are able to do so under the rule of the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or ARDMS.

For those who fell in the top 10% of technicians in the state, the average annual salary was one of the highest, at $100,500.
