The median hourly wage in 2013 was $30.47 for ultrasound technicians practicing in the state of Indiana.
Total employment for diagnostic median sonographers in Indiana is expected to grow 40% between 2010 and 2020, according to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development; this increase would see 1,210 technicians employed by 2020. Growth and net replacement are expected to produce 50 annual job openings.
